What is Financial Seal?
Financial seal is a type of corporate e-signature. The electronic version of the stamps used by the companies is called the financial seal. It is given in return for application by TÜBİTAK and is in the form of a USB memory stick. It is mandatory for the verification of company information in electronic documents and transactions.

What is Financial Seal Certificate?
A financial seal certificate is a necessary certificate to obtain a financial seal. It is not possible to obtain a financial seal without a financial seal certificate. After the application is approved and the fee is paid, the production of the financial seal begins.

What Does a Financial Seal Do?
The financial seal is most fundamentally required when applying for an electronic invoice. It is not possible to make electronic invoice transactions without a financial seal. Financial seal provides security by transferring company information precisely and clearly in electronic accounting applications. Thanks to the financial seal, electronic invoices can be created, sent and stored in a secure, legal way.

Who Uses the Financial Seal?
Persons authorized by the company holding the financial seal can use the financial seal. Legal entities and natural persons can apply for financial seal. In case the company representative changes, the financial seal must also change. The financial seal can be changed by notifying the relevant institutions of the change.

What is the Difference Between E-Signature and Financial Seal?
The main difference between e-Signature and Financial Seal is that the e-Sign represents an individual, while the Financial Seal represents a company, an entity. The e-Signature represents a person's identity. The Financial Seal represents the identity of a firm. The financial seal replaces the company's stamp. e-Signature replaces the wet signature of the person.
